Using Xabit
Xabit is free to use for tracking personal and group expenses. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you log, and for resolving disputes about shared expenses with the people in your group.
No money movement
Xabit records and calculates splits between people. It does not process payments, hold funds, extend credit, or move money between accounts. Settling up happens outside the app, by whatever method your group agrees on.
Groups
When you join a group, other members can see the expenses, splits, and receipt photos you share within that group. Leaving a group does not retroactively hide expenses you already contributed to.
Location sharing
If you enable live location sharing on a group map, that location is visible to your group members for as long as sharing is active. You can disable it at any time.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
No warranty
Xabit is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continuing to use Xabit after an update means you accept the revised terms.
