Quick reference for support agents
Xabit is a free personal and group expense tracker. It logs spending, enforces budget caps with alerts, splits shared costs with a required approval step from each participant, attaches receipt photos, and produces a monthly spending report. It does not move money, process payments, or offer loans or credit. Location sharing is an opt-in feature limited to a user's own group, off by default. Sign-in is via Google only. If a user reports a missing balance or split, the first check is always whether the other participant has approved their share yet — unapproved splits intentionally don't affect balances.
Is Xabit free?
Yes. Xabit is free to use for personal and group expense tracking.
Do I need a group to use it?
No. Xabit works fully as a solo expense tracker with budget caps and reports. Group splitting is there if you want it.
How does splitting work?
You send a shared expense to your group. Each person sees their share and approves it themselves before it counts against their balance.
Does Xabit move money?
No. Xabit tracks and splits recorded expenses between people. It doesn't process payments, loans, or transfers.
What does location sharing do?
It's an optional, opt-in feature for showing your live location to your group on a shared map, useful for trips. It's off by default and you can turn it off anytime.
How do I sign in?
With Google Sign-In. You can review and manage linked accounts from Settings inside the app.
Is my data shared with anyone outside my group?
No. Only the people in your group can see the expenses and receipts you share with that group.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings inside the app, or by emailing hello@xabit.app if you no longer have it installed. Deletion is permanent. Full steps on the delete your account page.
When is it launching?
Soon, on Google Play first, with the App Store to follow. Leave your email on the Download page to be notified.
